There Might Be A Delayed Pictures Entry (again)..........

Its been awhile since my last blog entry. Mainly because my life's a wreck right now?? Or I don't have anything interesting to write here for the past few days.

Anyways, I am just back from Genting Highlands yesterday and boy was it fun up there. ALTHOUGH I can't play most of the indoor/outdoor games there.

Pictures of the trip would be up A.S.A. (as soon as) (AGAIN!) Tifosi Lim gets the picture resize and sent to me. In the meanwhile, readers, you have to WAIT!. :-P

I certainly took this quiz just because I have NBTD. I do not condone the results and neither does it has any effect on me. Its just by chance the religion most suitable for me is Christianity. And true to it, I AM a Christian.

If in anyways you think this quiz is a total bullsh*t. Just don't take it. Tq.

Freakin' Bad Luck

Only today I found out I am missing TWO things. One, my thumbdrive and TWO, my RM100 Maxis reload pin no.

To those that actually took it, please return it sincerely. Or else I hope you all would be impotent for the rest of your miserable life. Being impotent is worst than dying on the stop and less cruel of a curse.

So again to those that actually "accidentally" took it, please return it or fell the wrath of the curse. Thanks.

Update: Both item are found safely. No one actually took it. If anybody felt they were accused, I am sorry.

Whose Fault Is It Now??

As all Streamyx (Msia's Leading ISP, broadband service) users now know by now, we are all currently facing the same problem, we aren't surfing at our optimal speed!!

We are now lagging like snails on a broadband connection. And certainly, half of us, or maybe more, felt DAMNED. Take for instantance, I am on a 512kbps download and 384kbps upload rate pacakge and I am DOWNLOADING at the speed of 0.6kbps this morning. Isn't that DAMNED? I think it is.

For those that dont understand what am I crapping here, simple explaination = STREAMYX is currently running at a slow-@$$ speed.

This is an explaination from the ISP's site on this problem we are facing.

This is to announce that TM Net Sdn Bhd’s Internet service is currently experiencing a slight drop in performance caused by several outages due to service degradation at some of its international links to Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Korea, Japan, Thailand and United States. Our multiple link providers which subscribe to the international carriers are still trying to restore their system for TM Net service.

TM Net is currently running slightly short on international capacity due to the problem. The congestion will be alleviated as soon as the international carriers fully restore their services for our connectivity. Meanwhile, we have taken immediate action to divert some traffic through our tmnet Eastgate service as well as to other back-up links to reduce the Internet international traffic congestion. The international providers are carrying out rectification works in stages and we will be making an announcement when the service has resumed to normal.

There are a few questions that need answers :

  1. WHEN is this problem going to be rectified?
  2. WHOSE duty is it to rectify this problem ASAP?
  3. ISN'T it one of TMNet's duty to ensure us, as users, get uninterrupted service?
  4. IF SO, then I am having an interrupted service right now, and as a consumer, I do have the rights to get a compensation, don't I?
I bet most Streamyx users are currently screaming curses at TMNet. If you have NBTD and feel that signing a petition against better service WOULD help, head here.

I feel that at the moment, to those affected users, I think that complaining isn't gonna help a bit, just sit and wait for the service to be tuned back to its normal state. Complaining isn't going to make it faster anyways, save your breath. ROTFLOL.......

The Not-So-Detailed Surgery "Ordeal"

*long post, don't complain.

Seh. As every knows, I had to go for a minor SURGERY to correct the broken bone in my palm. No worries as I am fine now.

My surgery was delayed from Wednesday morning to Sunday morning due to my extremely high temperature fever, 39 degree celsius, that even freaked out the doctors at the hospital.

During the wait, I was admitted at the hospital for further "test". My oh my, was that a wrong decision to admit into the hospital. The nurses took my blood for a total amount of 6 times during my 7 days stay at the hospital.

Reason for the amount of times my blood was taken are as follows :
  • TWICE for a dengue fever check,
  • THRICE for malaria check,
  • and ONCE for a blood cultivation test.
Out of the three test done, only ONE came out with some results, which was the cultivation test. SPECKS of bacteria was found in my blood platelets. And that was it, SPECKS of bacteria. Not even an AMOUNT of bacteria. Tiu....... And that gave them and excuse to take THAT much blood.

And finally, the account of my surgery. The not-so-detailed one.
  • My surgery was scheduled at 1.30pm on Sunday.
  • I was not allowed to take or consume any form of fluid or solid/soft food about 7 hours before the operation. Darn, I tell you that wasn't a bit easy at all.
  • Then about 1.00pm, the nurses came into my room with a stroller to "pick" me up.
  • Wheeled me to the operation theater. Sounds nice with "theater" word but oh my, that must be a real fraud. They should just called it an operation CHAMBER.
  • In the operation chamber, its bloody freezing cold. And that's an understatement too. It's like Artic just shifted into the operation theater.
  • The nurses that could survive the cold temperature in the operation theater asked if I would like another blanket, of course I do, and she supplied one and she too placed a heater on top of me. Like baking a real life-size Ginger Bread Man.
  • After a 10-15min wait in the "lobby" section of the operation theater, I was wheeled into the operation room.
  • In the operation room, I was then fixed a drip and my blood pressure was taken. 3 pads were then affixed to my chest for my heart beat measurement. A clip was also clipped onto my finger to measure the amount of oxygen in my body. Woo......
  • After all the gadgets were hooked onto me, here comes the mask. Woo..... my anesthetic doctor was telling me in the background that it was suppose to provide oxygen and to my naiveness, I took TWO deep breaths of the so-called oxygen.
  • The next thing I know, out was I. KO-ed. Like Mike Tyson just landed a punch on me, minus the pain suffered though.
  • Turns out that the oxygen was actually the General Anesthetic. What naiveness. ROTFLOL.........
  • The next thing that I know, I was hearing a distant beeping sound. Tried to open my eyes........saw the clock and it was pointing at the time of 3.55pm. I went WTF....... that long of a time just passed by?? Then I can over hear the doctor telling the nurse that she can call the nurses from my ward to wheel me back already.
  • So dumbf**ked I was, that I began to think the doctor forget to even operate me. ROTFLOL. Then glimpse at my right palm that was lay on my chest showed that it was now wrapped as shown in the pic in the entry before this.
  • It took me another hour or two in my own ward before I could get up my of bed or even sit up without feeling like the whole world is warping. PLUS, I wasn't allow to drink or eat in that 2 hours of wait time. Once again, tiu..........
After being through so much, I don't feel like going through it all over again to take out the metal piece that was inserted into me. ROTFLOL.........
Anyways,
I was really relieved that I hadn't wake up in the middle of the surgery or anything like that. An that the surgery was over. Hehehehe......
God bless.
