Tomorrow's D-Day.

Tomorrow at 9am I will be admitted into the Assunta Hospital and to be prepared for a minor surgery to fix the broken bone on my right palm. If everything goes like it should, I would enter the operation theater at 2pm for my surgery.

THEN, I would have to admit into the hospital for one night for a throughout monitor of me. Good luck to myself seh. :-P

Live On TV!

Its reported that a tsunami will hit in a few hours. Police have ordered those that are staying around the seaside to be caution and not panic. All firemen in Malaysia are on call at the moment.

This is getting real serious for residents in Malaysia. Wonder what it will be for those in Indonesia.

And again, PLEASE avoid the seaside and stay caution if you are nearby. All we can do now is just pray for the best according to our own religion.

Effected States : Penang, Selangor, Perlis, Kedah, Perak and including Kuala Lumpur.

Update (2.14am) - 3 AFTER-shocks have been recorded.
Update (2.22am) - Residents of high rise building in Penang start evacuating.
Update (2.26am) - Residents in Bandar Aceh start evacuating.
Update (2.42am) - DO NOT belive rumours. The earthquake DID NOT happen in Malaysia but of the coast of Sumatra.

Tremors In Msia??

Reports of tremors have been reported around the net, heck it will be reported in the newspaper later this morning too. Trust me.

Some bloggers, that suffered the FIRST earthquake described THIS earthquake as even MORE frightening. The reason, read THIS.

This isnt't something to be laughing at as this IS a serious matter. Reports (BBC News) say that an earthquake with a magnitude of 8.2 just hit of the coast of Northern Sumatra. Although another source (CNN) says that it couldn't be certain that this quake would cause another Tsunami.

Tremors are felt from high rise apartments. It was even said that resident in Kelana Jaya felt it too. How true is that appears to be know. :-P

Words of precaution : If you can get as far away from the sea, please do so at the moment. And those staying by the sea, just take extra notice of the water current near you. God bless.

Everybody has one. But I am just feellin' miserable. Tomorrow my dad would arrange the date for my operation. All the best!

Operation Due Next Week.

After seeing/meeting Dr. *.*. Lee today, the decision is that we do an operation to correct the bone in my palm.

Why the operation decison :
-> Doc say I would not last if I wanted to let it heal by itself. Reason given, the cast
would irratate me before I even realise.
-> Doc say I can use my hand straight after surgery. No need to wait 4-6 weeks to let
it heal naturally.
-> Doc say he just operated on one Singaporean, same case, but broke two fingers
instead. Patient can TYPE after one day. w00+!
-> Doc say he, himself, would opt for surgery because it will enable himself to
operate other people the next day.

Operation process (as explain by the doc) :
-> They will put me on anesthetic.
-> Make sure I KO already.
-> Then they will start operate.
-> After operation I would have a steel in between my bone. Woo..... with screws
somemore. The doc said that the screw MIGHT be visible!
-> Then I would be admitted for one day. Discharge the day after.

I just hope the Doc wont and during the operation, we wont

ROTFLOL.

One More. No More.

One more day to the hospital, one more doctor to meet. Darn.
I just hope this time, this doctor would come out with a better solution than the last to help cure my hand...........

Edit : Today's (21st March) appointment with the doctor has been rescheduled to tomorrow (22nd March) at 4.30pm!!

To operate or not to operate?? Thats the question.

Just to make things clear, I am writting this blog BEFORE I am getting a 2nd opinion from another doctor. So bear with it for awhile, or at least till' Monday night.

Here are seperate pro's and con's of operating my palm or NOT to operate it.

OPERATE
-> I maybe able to out streatch my broken finger after the operation. Although it isn't 100% I am able to do so.
-> There won't be lump on top my hand if I go through with the operation.
-> The healing process take around 3-6 weeks.

NOT OPERATE
-> I may not be able to extend my finger to its extreme anymore.
-> There is a high chance that there will be a lump on my hand.
-> It still take 3-6 weeks to cure.

So, you tell me in the comments section, which way should I follow through. Both seems to end up the same way. Though call. But at the moment I am waiting for the verdict from my 2nd doctor on Monday.

Hope everything will be fine when I visit the doctor on Monday. :-)

New cast, a spilnt!

Woo.... new cast, a spilnt it is called. Made from TERMOplastic. Wooo....... will change shape if it is heated up...... At least now I can move 3 fingers on my right hand.

Sleeping these days......

Sleeping, for me, for the past two days has been the most toughest task for me to accomplish. Why? Lets list them out.

With my broken bone in my palm, I cant sleep :
-> in my normal position, which btw, is by lying on one side of my body
-> because I need to put on that bandage sling over my neck so that my hand wouldnt move around while iI sleep.
-> because everytime I close my eyes, many thoughts about my injury comes poppin' up one after another.
-> many more reasons that I couldn't think of right now, and i would list out when it comes into mind..............

Played badminton even with a broken bone in palm........

I don't know is this good or not. But even with a broken bone in my palm, I still manage to play some badminton today. :-P

Some would ask how..... let me tell you how. With my left hand lo. Although my shots are weaker..... but still its some excitement for me other than watching the others play.

And now the cast covering my whole arm is causing me itchiness...... darn.........

Walk walk walk and more walking.......

Waseh.... damn tired man....... today I have walk walk and walk for almost the whole day. I think the only time I stopped walking was when I was at the TARC Hall listening to the counselor tell/explain (to) me about what courses is suitable for me.

Recap:
-> Today I started off my day by going of to my friend's house. Forget to bring my HP (actually left it in the car).

-> When to Tmn Bahagia station at 11am. And took a train right down to Tmn Melati (one station before the last Putra Station, Terminal Putra)

-> After trip to TARC. Went down to LYP. Took train (Putra) to Dang Wangi and switch to Monorail to Bukit Bintang stop.

-> Ate at Teppanyaki in Sg. Wang before heading to LYP.
Advise : Don't eat there if you see that all the workers there are Malays! Damn bad service. What a disappointment.

-> Walk over to LYP. - 2/3pm

-> Continue walking for like the next 3 hours, "shop-hopping" and window shopping.

-> Finally came home by train (again!).......

-> Reach home at 8pm. And now bloody exhausted.
